As a World War 2 hobby historian particularly interested in individual firsthand reports of US Air Force airmen, I have read the book Dear Mom, Dad & Ethel. I was impressed with its open and down-to-earth style about the history of the 327th Fighter Control Squadron. I recommend the book to anyone interested in the subject matter.

Mark,
Your website is a work of art.
I read Dear Mom, Dad & Ethel in 2007. The love story of Denise and Don (based on your father's army days) was similar to one that I told in an autobiographical novel I wrote when I was 78 years old. Some were spared; others were not, and no one understands why. Fate, maybe.
